The Search Hard Values plugin scans your sequences to find every cues containing hard values. Clean up your programming, fix “dirty” show, and ensure your show is 100% preset-based in just a few clicks.

Maybe you were programming too fast under pressure, maybe you inherited a “dirty” showfile from a colleague, or maybe a preset was accidentally deleted. Hard values are a real pain in the ass—and you usually realize they’re there when it’s already too late.

This plugin is your ultimate safety net. It analyzes your sequences and gives you a clear, actionable report of everything that needs fixing.

The main interface provides a hierarchical view of your show’s health:

• Live Summary: A quick counter at the bottom shows exactly how many sequences and cues are affected.
• Deep Scan: See exactly which Sequences and Cues contain hard values.
• Memory Efficient: The plugin reloads the last results instantly on launch.
• Direct Action: Use the “Edit Cue” button to jump straight into the sequence, or “Select Fixtures” to immediately grab the problematic lights in your programmer.

Don’t waste time scanning things you don’t need. You can target specific Datapools to keep your scan efficient and report relevant

🛠️ Exclude Attributes

Sometimes, you don’t care if the Dimmers are hard values, but you absolutely need your Colors and Positions to be on presets.

• Custom Filtering: Choose exactly which attributes to ignore in the report.
• Focus on what matters: Keep your report clean and focus on fixing the most critical data first.

🔧 Uninstall and Cleanup

You can uninstall the plugin with the following command, this will delete all plugin data and licence:

Plugin "Search Hard Values" "Uninstall"

If you just need to delete plugin data without unregister the plugin:

Plugin "Search Hard Values" "Cleanup"
