This plugin calculate real count of used parameters

It counts coarse parameters but only for patched fixtures, because this is what cost parameters.

The used parameter count, in the System Info window, also includes parameters for unpatched fixtures, virtual parameters, and Universal fixtures.

The plugin also helps you determine whether you need Processing Units in your system and how many.

  • Orange section :
    • Describe your system here to calculate the available parameters.
    • Select your base station to set the baseline for the parameter count.
    • Then you can add Processing Units.
  • Blue section :
    • This display the real parameters count of your show
    • There two view modes: detailed and condensed
      • Detailed view show how are distributed parameters
between patched and unpatched fixtures, and between real and virtual parameters
      • Condensed view only show the real parameters count for patched fixture
    • You can also filter fixtures that remain patched in your show but are not used.
      For example, type “Fixture 11 thru 20 + Channel 1 + 2”
    • Finally, the total required parameters are shown at the bottom.
  • Green or Red section :
    • If you have enough parameters, it shows the number of extra parameters.
    • If you don’t have enough, it shows the number of missing parameters and how many Processing Unit M devices you need in your system.

The plugin provides detailed information about parameter limits for onPC‑based systems:
